D’Art for Art – Feb. 27, 2016

Dappled YellowDappled Yellow was juried in and donated to the D'Art for Art Fundraiser for The Columbus Museum of Art. You are cordially invited to this fun event with a chance to win a work of art.  Here is the museum's invitation: "Do you love great art? Interested in adding original art to your collection? Enjoy hors d'oevres and delectable desserts? Then plan to attend D’Art for Art, a biennial fundraiser hosted by the Women’s Board of the Columbus Museum of Art. Established and emerging artists have donated more than 60 original works o f art that were juried by art professionals for this event. Each guest ticket includes a “Chance” to win an original work of art. And because there is no limit to the number of works a guest might win, guests may buy additional Chances to improve their odds! Tickets are $75 per guest. All tickets include one Chance to win a work of art. This bi-annual exhibit is one of the most recognized and prestigious art exhibits in the region, including artists and attracting buyers from all over the country. Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition – July-Aug. 2015

Through the Woods Through the Woods (shown here), Sunset Pastels, and Three Sisters are juried into the 2015 Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition - Amateur Division. Also shown is a photo of Kendra Roberts (of the McConnell Arts Center) with me and my paintings at the opening reception. The Fair runs July 19-August 9 in Columbus, Ohio.
