Beauty and Light – Solo Exhibition – Sept-Nov 2019

Freesia DelightYou are cordially invited to Beauty and Light, a solo exhibition of my paintings at The Ohio State University Faculty Club. Shown at the right is Freesia Delight (oil on board, 16"x 12").

I paint because I love beauty and light. While we experience difficulties and pain in life, we can also have pleasure, respite, and joy in beauty. Inspiration comes when something remarkable catches my eye… I’ll think, “Wow, I want to paint THAT!” My oil paintings capture these visually unique moments to share with others. I’m often drawn to depicting light contrasting with darkness. I suppose this subconsciously symbolizes hope for me.

WHEN:

  • Reception: Friday, September 13, 2019, 6-8pm
  • Exhibit: September 10-November 1, 2019, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

WHERE:

  • The Ohio State University Faculty Club,  181 South Oval Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43210.
