Operation Monarch – Mar-May 2019

Orange Blaze ShadowsI’m honored to have two paintings juried in the Operation Monarch exhibit at the Cultural Arts Center in Columbus, Ohio. It addresses substance abuse, recovery and the role of art for individuals and families affected by addiction. It will include my painting Light Beyond the Darkness, which symbolizes my journey through my son’s addiction, mental illness & suicide.

Art for Life – Sept. 2018

River ReflectionsRiver Reflections is juried in and donated to the Art for Life 2018 auction at the Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus, Ohio to raise funds for Equitas Health. Its mission is to be the gateway to good health for those at risk or affected by HIV/AIDS, for the LGBTQ community, and for those seeking a welcoming healthcare home.

Matt won the Second Place Award in the Oils and Acrylics Category.

Ohio Artists of Today – July 2018

Ohio Artists of Today, is an exhibition of  works by ten artists featured at the Sharon Weiss Gallery and co-presented with Fairhope Hospice & Palliative Care. It coincides with the Lancaster Arts Festival. Shown here is Sugar Grove Road Fields by Jane Flewellen.
